This Christmas, we’re living out our FOR Charleston and FOR the World vision through two giving initiatives in our lobby:
FOR Charleston – Angel Tree (HOPE of East Central Illinois)
Pick a tag from the Angel Tree to provide a Christmas gift for a child, mom, or family served by HOPE, a local crisis-prevention center for survivors of domestic violence.
Goal: 250 gifts
How to participate:
FOR the World – Gifts with a Mission (Good Measure International)
Visit the “Gifts with a Mission” table to provide things like Bibles, school fees, clean water, sewing machines, and more to communities in Haiti, India, Thailand, and across Africa. You can also give in someone’s name as a meaningful Christmas gift.
Available every Sunday until Christmas
All December services meet at 9:00 and 10:45am

The Blue Christmas Tree in our lobby is a special space to honor loved ones we miss and to acknowledge that the holidays can be difficult. Scripture reminds us that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18), and we want you to know—you’re not alone.
Write the name of someone you’re remembering, or a word that reflects your grief, on the paper provided. Place it inside a clear ornament and hang it on the tree as a gentle reminder that God meets us with comfort and peace, even in seasons of sorrow.
